With a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) and a Diploma in Accountancy from the National Diploma in Accountancy (NDA), he combines academic knowledge with over 7 years of practical experience in gemology and business management.
Under his leadership, Gemszen (Pvt) Ltd has established itself as a reputable and dynamic company specializing in the sourcing, cutting, and distribution of high-quality natural gemstones. The company’s operations are deeply rooted in Sri Lanka’s historic and resource-rich gem mining regions, primarily in Ratnapura, Badalkumbura, and Kanthale—areas renowned for their abundant and distinctive gemstone deposits.
Hasitha wears many hats in the industry — he is a gem exporter, miner, trader, lecturer, and business owner.
